Run by affable Austrian host, Andy, The Brew (formerly Alley Bar), is a relaxed indoor/outdoor pub located on a quiet back street across from the two Indian restaurants - Ganga Impression and Kali Mirch. With a projection screen playing European football matches, The Brew offers excellent homemade beer (check with Andy on the monthly offering) and some of the best western food in Yangshuo.

Bad Panda is a great late night place, popular with foreign residents and people in the know. There's a foosball table, great music and a chill vibe. A place where people tend to show up after 9:30pm or later, usually after a few drinks elsewhere.

A tasteful new hideaway with great cocktails.
Off the noisy mainroad in a quiet alley with 2 tables outside to chill out Marina's Bar offers a great selection of beers, decent whiskies and excellent cocktails. Marina, the owner, has a formidable taste for design and it shows. Some of the paintings are hers as well. And try to beat her in a game of foosball!

DEMO Run by two very nice local couples, DEMO serves world class craft beer from South China's best microbrewery, Tripsmith. One of the owners is a DJ, so excellent lounge music is guaranteed. and best of all in good weather you can sit out on the terrace overlooking the Li River and mountains. Great pizza and fresh sandwiches too.

THE RUSTY BOLT
The quintessential climber's hangout.
Looking for cheap bombers of Tsingtao Beer? Enjoy hanging with friendly climbing folk? A high-stakes game of fussball? Rusty Bolt is the Yangshuo Bar for you! Located on Guihua Lu not far from the little bridge, the Rusty Bolt is a favorite among Yangshuo bars for climbers, local residents and climbers. They tend to open after 7pm, but there's plenty of restaurants neaby if you want to have dinner first before heading over. Live music some nights.

If you're into Reggea, Ska and the like, this is your place to be at, a state of the art foosball table, a well stocked beer fridge, an impressive selection of whiskies and Chicha, the soul of the establishment behind the bar, who knows her mixology make this a very popular place for both, expats and tourists.
