Formerly known as The Alley, The Brew is one of the longest living Yangshuo restaurants under the guidance of Andy - a long-time Yangshuo chef from Austria. Andy is himself a great cook and makes excellent breads, pasta, steaks, burgers and salads with homemade sauces. He also makes outstanding home brewed beer, so be sure to ask him about it.

LUNA

Beautiful views of Moon Hill from the rooftop

Luna is an elegant rooftop Yangshuo restaurant at Yangshuo Village Inn offering authentic Italian and Chinese fare since 2008. Trained by Italian chefs, Luna also creates beautiful pastries and desserts. China craft brews, great food and views of the Li River

While better knwon as a brew house, Demo offers outstanding pizza, bagels and sandwiches under the expert hands of Emma, a British native. Yangshuo Mountain Retreat is now serving Demo's craft beers from TripSmith in Guiyang from our new taps!

LUCY'S

Local family run since 2006

One of the longest-running Yangshuo restaurants, Lucy's became an institution with backpackers and long-time expat residents. Her breakfasts are particularly good as are her desserts (we recommend the apple crumble). Lucy's sister and mother still run her restaurant with friendly service. Sit outside on the sidewalk or upstairs in a cosy more private room.

Address: Top of Guihua Lu, just diagonal from the McDonalds.

GANGA IMPRESSION

Another excellent Indian restaurant serving a variety of classic Indian dishes at fair prices. Definitely worth a try, especially if Kali Mirch is busy.

CHONGQING SISTERS SICHUAN

Follow Guihua Lu to where it ends at a stone footbridge and on your left is this longtime favorite Sichuan restaurant. The sisters who run it are wonderful, the range of dishes is broad (not too spicy for newbies) and reasonably priced. A delicious and reliable experience for Yangshuo insiders.

Address: End of Guihua Lu, heading toward the river, next to the big stone bridge.

7TH HEAVEN

Owned by William and Linda, 7th Heaven is one of the oldest Yangshuo restaurants that also offers a cooking school, tours and accommodation. It is mainly a lunch venue, located in a very busy section of town, just off West Street.
